DINNER FUNDRAISER AT VELVET MARGARITA
The Friends of El Faro would like to invite you to an evening of fun, food and music at The Velvet Margarita Cantina. As always, the proceeds benefit the Casa Hogar Sion Orphanage in Tijuana. We hope that you will join us and eat some amazing food at the best Mexican restaraunt in Los Angeles. Sion is the home to over a hundred wonderful children and by eating with us you are helping to feed them!

NEW GOALS FOR CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
Board Member, Nicole Balsamo aims to find 20 more child sponsors by July 15 stating, "We currently have about half the chidren ar our home sponsored. I can tell you what a difference it makes to that child knowing there's someone out there that cares. Twenty more sponsors would get us close to our ultimate goal of finding a sponsor for EVERY child at Casa Hogar Sion."

NEW FAMILY MEMBERS
CHS welcomes two new family members to the Casa...but they aren't ninos! this winter brought us two new puppies to warm the hearts of the children. For children whose life thus far has taught them that the adults around them aren't to be trusted, a pet can do wonders to start to reteach trust and attachment. CASSIDY VISITS OUR CASA
Teachers and staff from Cassidy Preschool visited Casa Hogar Sion for the holidays to deliver some much needed items as well as some gifts. The preschool collected items from parents and staff and visited the orphanage and our kids. A special holiday thank you for all their hard work!
